Jason and Theresa gave us the opportunity to photograph one of the most unique and special wedding days we have attended.
The gifts are symbolic of what the groom can offer the bride. I was amazed by their dress and all the beautiful colors. Theresa looked stunning wearing a Vietnamese head-dress called “khan dong.” Following Theresa’s tea ceremony, we went to Jason’s house for a Chinese tea ceremony where Theresa was formally introduced to the family. I really felt honored to witness and capture their traditions and be a part of their cultures.
With another wardrobe change, came their third ceremony for their Aerie at Eagle Landing wedding and Lindsay joined me to photograph. It was a warm afternoon ceremony during which the guests clapped as the bride came down the aisle and the couple exchanged their own vows, which were funny, personal and sweet. Jason and Theresa had some tricks up their sleeves and after being introduced to the reception hall, they busted out a well practiced, choreographed dance that was a collection of their favorite songs. It was a testament to their fun personalities and got everyone cheering.
Thank you Jason and Theresa for making me and Lindsay feel so welcome on your special day and allowing us to capture it. We hope to cross paths again one day. Cheers!
This was a spectacular wedding Daniel. Full of awesome color, the lighting was beautiful and you really captured some awesome moments. The kids shots made me smile! And I love the sunburst shot of the couple, such a sweet photo. Great job!
