For the last few years, we’ve had the pleasure of living in a charming Victorian fourplex with seriously the best neighbors you could ever ask for. And right above us are Kent and Miranda, who recently decided to tie the knot in a sweet and simple ceremony at McMenamins Kennedy School in Portland. The morning of the wedding, along with our other neighbors and our landlord, we all piled into a van, our camera gear in tow and headed to the venue.
It was a beautiful spring day and if you know Portlanders, you know there’s nothing we love more than to sit in the sun, drink beer and enjoy good company. Kent and Miranda’s wedding was the perfect embodiment of all these things, paired with the marriage of two kick ass people. Friends and family enjoyed their sweet ceremony, an adorable choreographed first dance, hilarious toasts from the ones who know them best, and some downright awesome dancing that included glowing crayons, a giant teddy bear strapped with a video camera and Miranda’s veil making the rounds between guests.
It was the perfect day to have such a fun celebration and we couldn’t be happier that we were there to capture it.
