The first time I met Lacy was over 10 years ago in high school where we became fast friends. Unfortunately, she moved before our senior year and we gradually lost touch. But before she left, I remember I made a movie with photos to show her parents why she shouldn’t move schools. It didn’t work but luckily, through what I like to call “facebook fate” and a little help from their wedding coordinator (more on that below), we reconnected and I was extremely happy to find out she met an incredible person to spend her life with, Brandon. I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their fun, edgy, rockstar wedding. Lindsay got an earful of old stories and we will definitely be doing some double dates in the future with Lacy and Brandon!
We always feel happy when the couple has a stellar wedding coordinator who keeps the evening running smoothly. Lacy and Brandon were lucky enough to have Jennie Streitberger, who also owns Magnifique Boutique of Portland. It was in Jennie’s shop where Lacy saw my business cards and thought, “I know him!” Jennie made sure every detail of the wedding came together beautifully and certainly made our job a little easier with the flow of the day. We hope to work with you again the future!
A cheers to my old friend and her new husband. Congrats!
If i weren’t living in France right now I would have asked you to be our photographer! These pictures are just full of emotions.
This wedding was so fun! You had a lot of great shots, too many to list. Very nice lighting (especially the barn/dance shot), great moments and lots of awesome kissing shots. Excellent!
Love the last shot so much! The lighting with the twinkle lights is perfect. And, I agree the door frame shot of the couple is fantastic…well they really are all amazing, those were my two favorites though.
Beautiful work as always, Daniel! I especially like the shot of the couple dancing, framed in the doorway. Your eye is just SO damn good! :)
#6 is the most perfect sunflare ever! The bride is showered in gorgeous purple light…awesome. That would become a 20 x 30 if it were mine!
These photos are full of energy and love.
WOW Daniel this is amazing! I am so happy to be your friend and able to work with you! Scott and I are truly bummed that we didn’t know you when we got married because we would have used you in a heartbeat. However, now that we do know you we look forward to the future pictures that you will take.
