Indian weddings…what fun! The colors, the clothes, the traditions, the elements of surprise! It’s really a photographer’s dream and especially if you love photojournalism like us. We just dive right in, and come along for the ride. The culture and tradition is really so deep and goes back so far. When you photograph an Indian ceremony, depending on the couple, you may not understand a word. But you can see the traditions unfolding and when it’s all said and done, you’ve got yourself a set of photos that truly tell the story. If you are having an Indian wedding…we can’t wait to hear from you and see what your spin will be.
Portland Hindu Temple and Crowne Plaza Downtown Wedding
Holly and Nikhel
Holly and Nikhel’s Indian and Mien wedding was most definitely a celebration of love, family, and culture. We feel so honored to have had this unique opportunity to capture the beauty and joy of their weekend. And can’t thank them enough for their trust in our artistic vision.
Ponzi Winery Wedding
Joseph & Sudeshna
It’s not every weekend that we photograph an event that is one part Indian wedding and one part Italian wedding. In fact, it’s never happened before! Thankfully Sudeshna and Joe asked us to document this unique blending of love and family for their Ponzi Winery wedding on Fourth of July.
Castaway Wedding
Erin & Vivek
Vivek and Erin gave us the opportunity to photograph our first Indian wedding. We knew we were in for a lot of fun when we arrived to Vivek’s baraat, which was one of the most colorful and lively gatherings of people we’ve ever seen.
