We love to photograph elopements. Truly. We have shot at courthouses, on mountain tops, on the beach, on the strip in Las Vegas and many another perfect location for the couple who just wants to get away. Sometimes it’s just the two of you (plus us!) and sometimes it might be an elopement/small wedding with a handful of guests. Either one is the perfect, low key and laid back way to celebrate what matters most. The two of you, the union you’re making and the love you’re celebrating. It’s a beautiful moment to witness and photograph. And we’ve got some ideas for you too, if you need any! Including one photographer who can also perform weddings! It’s a one stop shop. :)
Downtown Portland Elopement at JackRabbit
Meagan & Jeff
We may be a wee bit behind on blogging this one but we figured this is a great time to share a Portland elopement, as it’s a great time to elope! COVID-19 has sadly forced many engaged couples to postpone their original wedding plans due to government restrictions on the sizes of social gatherings as well as our collective decision as a community to stay home and stay safe.
Government Cove Oregon Elopement
Ashley & Pete
Ashley and Pete hail from Massachusetts but they wanted a true elopement. A romantic, run away together and tie-the-knot kind of affair.
Portland Elopement
Flora & Graham
You can get married on a rooftop, a mountain, a beach or maybe at the downtown Portland courthouse and it won’t change the fact that you’ve chosen to forever bond with your life with another’s. It won’t change that indescribable feeling of saying yes to your best friend. Yes to more adventures, yes to the future, yes to love. And we LOVE to photograph that
Las Vegas Elopement
Russell & Kanice
Kanice and Russell’s Las Vegas elopement gave us our first opportunity ever to photograph a couple in sin city. These two flew all the way from Hong Kong, with no parents or friends by their side, to have a simple exchange of vows at the top of the Stratosphere hotel.
Chrissy & Kelly
Pittock Mansion
With the recent passing of same sex marriage equality in Oregon, Kelly and Chrissy decided to make their 15 year relationship official in a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by only their closest family.
White Rose Winery Wedding
Vince & Rebecca
Vince and Rebecca planned to have a true elopement. Tell no one, whisk away to Oregon wine country with just the photographers and an officiant, and then surprise friends and family after. Well we all know how hard is to keep a secret, especially from your parents.
