For a more traditional bride and groom, a church wedding is the best setting for an intimate exchanging of vows. From elaborate stained glass to simple wood paneling, from a 5 pews to 500, we have photographed in a wide variety of churches. Lighting can range from very dark to very bright, so keep that in mind when selecting which church is best for you. We bring equipment and technique that can handle either so don’t worry too much about us. Also, some churches have rules about photography so it’s a good idea to check and make sure you’re comfortable with them before you secure your venue. Either way, we’ll be there to capture the beauty of your special ceremony, whether it’s a tiny chapel or grand cathedral.
Chris & Erin
McMenamins Cornelius Pass Wedding
Chris and Erin entertained guests with an adorable butt squeezing first dance, toasts that tugged at your heart strings and finally, a karaoke machine. Where Erin successfully gave one of the most spirited performances we’ve ever seen by a bride.
Jeff & Christina
Ayia Napa, Cyprus Greece Wedding
A traditional Cyprus wedding is held in the tiny villages inland, where literally everyone in the village is invited. They are normally 1800+ person events. Jeff and Christina “kept it small” with just 400 guests. This wedding was the first time we spent 4 days with a couple and their family.
Lex & Andrea
Camp Colton Wedding
Lex and Andrea gave us the opportunity to photograph one of the most unique weddings we’ve seen in a long time. Their wedding was a finely planned and beautifully crafted event with a French, “Midnight in Paris” theme.
Scott & Kate
Melbourne, Australia Wedding
Scott + Kate’s wedding in Australia will go down as one of the most memorable weddings that Lindsay and I ever had the pleasure of photographing.
Shane & Allison
Hotel Monaco and Grace Memorial Episcopal Church Wedding
Allison and Shane held their wedding ceremony in a beautiful old church in North Portland. One of our favorite moments was being able to capture Allison having a quiet moment with her dad before walking down the aisle. He was an emotional father and when he saw Allison in her dress, he fondly credited Allison’s mom for raising his beautiful daughter.
Alex & Kim
Hilton Hotel, Portland Wedding
During the tea ceremony, we caught Alex and Kim whispering to each other, exchanging quick smiles and holding hands through what was a very important and special moment for both families. It’s honor to be a part of a tradition that goes back many generations and we relished the opportunity to document it.
