Park Engagements

When people inquire for an engagement session with us, the first thing they ask is “Where should we take our photos?” And living in Portland, Oregon, we have a plethora of beautiful locations. City parks are some of the best. We’ve got parks with sweeping bridges, parks with gorgeous greenery at any time of year, parks with no greenery if you’re going for that urban vibe and our personal favorite: parks with a view our fair city. You can view many of the options in our engagement tab as well as search the blog for the engagement session location that suits you best.

Katie & Royeric

Engagement sessions sometimes feel like practice sessions for the wedding day, and they can be especially helpful if you feel awkward in front of the camera. However, we also see these sessions as a way to show our clients how easy it is to work with us and why we pride ourselves on making our couples feel so comfortable in their photos

Cathedral Park Engagement Session

Blake & Jody

Between the iconic St. Johns Bridge and the lush background of Forest Park, we never get tired of a classic Cathedral Park engagement session. It’s just plain stunning and has so much to offer for photography. Of course, there’s the ideal backdrop of the bridge itself but the more we shoot here, the more we discover.

This engagement session was easy and relaxed, dripping in beautiful light and made even sweeter by the couple Daniel had the pleasure of photographing. What more could you ask for?

St. John's Bridge Cathedral park

Natalie and Hai were so much fun to hang out with. To them, it was their engagement photo session. To us, it was a double date night with a super fun couple that we’ll have the pleasure to capture again next summer for their wedding.

Pittock Mansion Engagement

We love Dan and Ellen. Any engagement session that ends with us asking the couple to go “stand in these bushes” and soon after, the bride walks out with mud soaked feet, belly laughs and asking for photos of said feet…we’re winning.

Sellwood Engagement Session

We’re so excited to bring you Carson and Todd’s sexy Sellwood engagement session today. It goes without saying that Carson is a knockout (hello red dress and legs!) and Todd is perfect counterpart, adding a chiseled masculine coolness to her feminine beauty. Hard to believe we have to wait until next July to photograph these two again. But we can’t wait!
