Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are often given the opportunity to photograph a winter wedding. And we LOVE it. Winter weddings are usually low key, warmly lit, intimately celebrated and simply magical. We’ve photographed winter weddings in cathedrals, restaurants, on top of Mt. Hood and occasionally in a couple’s home. It’s a lovely way to bring light and happiness into the hearts of your guests during the cold of winter. Plus while all your friends are honeymooning during summer high season…you’ll be hitting the sunny spots right when you need to be!
Stone & Paula
Timberline Lodge
Stone and Paula are casual, comfortable, loving and appreciate simplicity. Paula got ready in one room of the lodge, slipping into her classy yet sexy gown with her mom and Stone’s mom by her side.
Ean & Jen
Left Bank Annex Wedding
A short engagement happens all the time because sometimes, the couple is no fuss, they know what they want and it just works. This was the case with Jen and Ean. They have known each other for a while and are raising a beautiful daughter together, 1 year old Aida. Whose birth gave a sister to Jen’s other daughter, a vivacious, sassy and fun 6 year old named Olivia. The two of these precious girls served as both the flower girls and bearers of rings.
Chris & Erin
McMenamins Cornelius Pass Wedding
Chris and Erin entertained guests with an adorable butt squeezing first dance, toasts that tugged at your heart strings and finally, a karaoke machine. Where Erin successfully gave one of the most spirited performances we’ve ever seen by a bride.
Skylar & Jenny
Union Pine Wedding
It was a photo of Sky and Jenny leaving the courthouse, wearing ridiculously big, happy grins. The quote around the frame read: “You only live once. But when you do it right…once is enough.” – Mae West
