The wedding photography options are numerous, and provide inspiration for wedding photography and engagement sessions alike. As Portland wedding photographers, it is always refreshing to get outside the city enjoy the natural beauty Oregon winery weddings have to offer. Wedding guests are invited to stay at the luxurious on site accommodations while enjoying the impeccable service and exceptional estate wines.
We love Youngberg Hill weddings so much that we created a list of our top 3 reasons to get married there!
- Youngberg Hill weddings provide the all inclusive experience. The bed & breakfast gives you a spot to get ready before your wedding, without having to worry about renting an airbnb or hotel. The wedding ceremony and reception are all there, and afterwards, the wedding suite provides a cozy spot to sleep whenever you’re ready to call it a night.
- Youngberg Hill has celebrated many, many weddings. This is what we call a “well oiled machine”. There is an on site wedding coordinator, and you can bring in your own Portland wedding coordinator to assist in the day as well. But one thing is for sure, Youngberg Hill defines seamless organization to a T.
- Lastly, we love Youngberg Hill weddings for the most obvious reason of all: it’s beautiful. There is not a bad angle to this venue. The grounds are meticulously cared for, the bed & breakfast is cute so even in the back of photos it still looks good, and um, the grape vines. This winery is what you imagine in your head when you say, “I want to an Oregon wine country wedding.”
Youngberg Hill Wedding McMinnville, OR
It had been way too long since our last Youngberg Hill wedding and we weren’t going to take it for granted that we had the opportunity to be back. Matt is a long lost pal of Daniel’s from the early college days and when he emailed that he was engaged to Angela, we were thrilled that they first thing they “had to do” was book Stark Photography.

Molly and Chris were easy going, relaxed and just plain fun. You can ask any photographer what’s one thing that makes for the best photos with a wedding couple and it’s hand down…having a great attitude. Molly and Chris were 100% on board with us and when it got to the point that Daniel was in a Molly/Chris sandwich on the dance floor, we knew we had succeeded in our jobs.
