Hoyt Arboretum is nestled in the forest above Southwest Portland, just minutes from Downtown. This ethereal woodland retreat has become well known as natural sanctuary right within the city. While one of Portland’s beloved parks, it also doubles as rustic wedding venue with towering fir trees bringing warmth and a feeling of intimacy. The Wedding Meadow and the Redwood Deck have quickly become a serene and romantic wooded paradise for local couples. Wedding guests will love exploring the plethora of walking trails and enjoy the short jaunt to the Hoyt Arboretum visitor Center. As Portland wedding photographers, any chance to embrace nature while simultaneously capturing beautiful portraits is an unexpected boon. With a woodland ceremony, many bride and grooms have completed their wedding reception at the nearby Hotel Lucia or The Benson hotel ballroom.

Jen & Jen
Hoyt Arboretum Wedding
Jen and Jen, better known as Jen Squared, are two of the sweetest people we have ever met. Jen Hecht is a local photographer so when she approached us to photograph her wedding, we were completely honored. We like the Jens a lot because they remind us a little of our marriage. Two happy people who are friends, partners and utterly in love. It was an honor to be there and to document their celebration.
