Sandwiched between 9th and 10th avenue is the long row of Portland Park blocks, running right through the heart of downtown Portland. Tall trees shade the brick pathways and allow pedestrians a breathe of fresh air while commuting to and from work. One of the few parks in central downtown, it is a conveniently located oasis for wedding photographers seeking creative backdrops for bride and groom portraits. The Park blocks have been a happy paring for weddings at the Portland Art Museum and other Hotel weddings such as Hotel Monaco and the Nines. The iconic Shimenski fountain is a likely focal point and located at the North end close to the Arlene Shnitzer concert hall.
Danny & Sophia
Park Blocks and Ace Hotel Engagement
Had a great time spending the afternoon photographing Danny and Sophia and they even brought along their little dog, Cash.
Lindsay and I are looking forward to their Mexico wedding in March!
