Sauvie Island, just North of Portland Oregon, is the largest island along the Columbia River, at 26,000 acres, and one of the largest river islands in the United States. The verdant farmland is home to many local farmers and an annual fall attraction during pumpkin season. A rich variety of landscapes provides endless creativity for Portland photographers seeking new locations for portrait shoots. We’ve found a few hidden gems on the island and often bring new clients there to experience the natural beauty Oregon has to offer
Steve & Emily
Portland Engagement
Emily and Steve just moved away from Portland to start a new adventure in Southern Oregon. So when we scheduled their engagement shoot we made sure to do it in their favorite area of Portland, the Pearl district. I had a blast photographing them and after the shoot we had a couple of beers and chatted like old friends. I can’t wait for their wedding. Cheers guys.
Molly & Chris
Sauvie Island Engagement
The first thing I noticed about Molly was her smile and the fact that she couldn’t stop smiling. Chris and Molly were so natural together. I hardly felt like I had to give them poses or tell them how to look. They were in their moment and I feel lucky I got to capture it.
