In the wedding industry it’s easy to get caught up in awards and getting your work published but it’s always our couples who keep us the most grounded. What’s better than any award is getting that first email or letter back after a couple has viewed their images and slideshow. It’s their words that give meaning to our work.
I wanted to share with you an email we received from the groom, Abraham. This is exactly why we do what we do.
“Thank you for such amazing photos. They left us breathless. I have amazing memories of that day but seeing ourselves as others saw us is truly moving. It’s an amazing thing to have such a beautiful collective memory to share with the people we love. I feel very lucky that we found two artists with a remarkable talent for capturing both the fleeting moments and the big events in such a powerful way. The fact that you guys were so fun to work with made the experience that much more special. Thank you.”
Enjoy the photos from Devon and Abraham’s Astoria wedding at the historic Loft at the Red Building on the beautiful Oregon coast. We had so much fun with these two as they braved the chilly coastal temperatures for portraits before their sweet, family oriented reception. Thanks you two!
Daniel – thanks so much sending us the link to your blog with your amazing photos of devon and abraham’s wedding. Thanks also for your kind comments about our food. It’s certainly a pleasure to work with experienced professionals who truly care about the work they do! We hope you will find yourself out our way sometime again soon.
Nice work. I love the hand/detail shot and the kids photo too. Great emotion captured during their portraits.
Wow, Daniel – you rocked this one (as usual)!! My favorite is the portrait in front of the bridge — great emotion and composition!
absolutely beautiful.
