It’s always a treat when we get the chance to photograph an Oregon Coast wedding, an often forgotten coastline that is simply jawdropping. This time it was Oceanside, a tiny, no cell phone reception, population of 300 town. While getting to know Caroline and Paul, we discovered that Paul was an engineer who designed every last detail of the wedding day. Including the incredible wood arbor that they were married under. Caroline said it was Paul’s eye for design and details that led them to our photography. Paul was passionate about having a photographer that was also an artist. We were honored to be in this category for them and we loved being a part of their wedding.
After an emotional beach ceremony, Caroline and Paul ran to the ocean to dip their toes in after the first kiss. The reception got going with a big beach bonfire, a gourmet s’mores bar, local Oregon beer and sparklers. They cut into a cake of the United States that outlined their unique and adventurous honeymoon. Paul and Caroline left the next morning to bike coast to coast and are keeping a blog to document their experiences on the way. We were so happy to be able to share their photos with them as they continue their cross country journey on two wheels.
