Occasionally a couple books us for their wedding entirely through phone and email and we never actually see them until the wedding day. It adds a sense of anticipation and wonder as to what we can expect when the big day finally arrives. Well, Mario and Kira definitely surpassed every expectation we could have had. Especially when, without pause, Mario stripped off his socks, rolled up his pants and threw his new bride over his shoulder to go cross a creek for photos. I believe me and Daniel’s exact words were…”hell yes!”
That should give you an idea of the kind of free spirited and adventurous attitude for life that these two possess. And their wedding followed suit.
Mario and Kira chose her grandmother’s beautifully green and lush backyard in quiet Siletz, Oregon to exchange vows. Afterwards, guests picked ice cold beers out of a canoe turned cooler, the bridesmaids all donned cowboy boots to celebrate their country love and Mario even turned the videographer camera on himself at one point. The celebration continued well into the night and we were thrilled to be there to capture every shirtless and champagne filled moment.
Cheers Mario and Kira!

Ha! I have to say this is the first time I’ve ever seen someone that’s jumped in a creek on their wedding day :)
Breathtaking. WOW.
Wonderful photos, they really tell a story!
Great shots. Nice capture of both the bouquet and garter tosses. Looks like a very fun couple and party.
