JC & Julie

Julie and JC were all about a few main things for their Urban Studio wedding. Family. Friendship. Good drinks. Killer music. And they more than accomplished all these things.

These two had the essence of a true “family affair” wedding. Julie began the day in a vintage wedding dress before making a quick change into a beautiful reception gown that her mom handmade using fabric they selected together to match the wedding’s theme colors. A close friend served as officiant, not to mention stepping in when needed as resident relaxation woman, taking shots with the boys before the ceremony to calm the nerves. Another friend provided the processional music by guitar, never leaving his post in the hot August sun. The array of delicious cakes (also color coordinated!) were baked by a friend who used to be a cake maker. Everyone shacked up in local rental houses over the weekend to take in all the fun festivities together. And while a bridesmaid served as MC, JC’s brothers served as DJs for the evening. This stellar team kept everyone dancing and entertained, as well as continually projecting a live request list on the white walls of their Urban Studio reception. Julie and JC truly thought of everything and it all tied together in perfect harmony for their big day.

We’re so honored we could be their photographers and join in the celebration. We were made to feel like family as well and we are always grateful for that. Thank you Julie and JC, congrats and CHEERS!
