Honestly, we need to thank the first couple who booked us here for bringing this place into our atmosphere. The Griffin House is a Hood River, Oregon wedding venue and a total gem. And when we say it “overlooks” the Gorge, we mean it is right there at your fingertips. The Griffin House is perched on a cliff that gives you an up close and personal experience with our precious Columbia Gorge. The views are unparalleled.
Griffin House ceremonies are perfect angled on the home’s west facing lawn so that you and your guests gaze directly into the vast beauty of the river and it’s rolling hills. The Griffin House home is well maintained, cozy and the perfect getting ready location for brides and grooms. Cocktail hour takes place with the panoramic views we mentioned, and you may even spy eagles or ospreys as you sip your champagne.
The house and property have been in the Griffin family for 30 years and their dedicated attention to its care is obvious. The Griffin House grounds can accommodate up to 175 guests but you will still feel the intimacy and special touch of this beautiful Columbia Gorge wedding venue.
