We love the outdoors as much as you. And the next best thing to being outdoors is getting married in it. The possibilities are endless. Backyards, beaches, parks, vineyards, and hillsides are just a few that come to mind when we think of where to host a fabulous outdoor celebration. Check out those tags on our blog to see specifics! Wherever you choose, we recommend thinking about all the elements. Whether you might need a tent or if you’d consider a standing ceremony with no chairs. Each provides it’s own unique ambiance and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Matt & Angela
Youngberg Hill Wedding McMinnville, OR
It had been way too long since our last Youngberg Hill wedding and we weren’t going to take it for granted that we had the opportunity to be back. Matt is a long lost pal of Daniel’s from the early college days and when he emailed that he was engaged to Angela, we were thrilled that they first thing they “had to do” was book Stark Photography.
Andrew & Laura
Gray Gables Estate Wedding
Andrew & Laura had a perfect little Gray Gables Estate wedding. If you’ve never been, Gray Gables Estate is a quaint and romantic little venue outside of Portland that has so much charm to it. Daniel was their photographer and he described photographing Andrew & Laura like this: awesome. fun. laid back. cool.
Brandon & Win
Tiato Restaurant, Santa Monica, CA
Brandon and Win’s sweet and intimate ceremony in Tiato’s gorgeous enclosed garden was both endearing and light hearted. You can probably tell from the first dozen photos in this blog post, that these two don’t take themselves or each other too seriously
Oregon Coast Wedding
Pat & Amy
We have photographed many an Oregon Coast wedding but a lot of times it’s a destination wedding for the bride, groom and everyone invited. With Patrick and Amy’s Gearhart wedding, Amy didn’t choose Gearhart as a destination, she chose it because it’s home.
Lisa & Kevin
Bainbridge Island, Washington
It was our first time on Bainbridge Island and let me tell you, it was because of Lisa and Kevin that we experienced it in the best way possible. Their wedding was held at Islandwood Retreat, a private retreat and learning center in the magical woods of Bainbridge Island.
Kyle & Emily
Council Crest, Elder Hall Wedding
Emily and Kyle chose Council Crest park for their wedding ceremony. This beautiful, hill top location overlooks Portland and offers views of our area’s mountains that are unparalleled. Kyle is an arborist and Emily is a true PNW gal so it was really important for them to exchange vows amongst the trees and natural beauty of Oregon.
