More modern than it’s opulent counterpart, (the Elysian Ballroom) the Exchange Ballroom is a versatile wedding space featuring contemporary design, industrial details and abundant natural light. Old Growth timbers meet concrete floors creating a dynamic high-contrast wedding venue ideal for a fashion-forward couple. As Portland wedding photographers, we have loved inviting our bride and grooms to the stunning cascade rooftop, popular for both the ceremony and sunset portraits alike. Portland’s skyline is clearly visible as guests relax on the roof awaiting the bride’s grand entrance. This sleek rooftop venue is located just east of the Willamette river, adjacent to the Burnside bridge. Out of town guest can find overnight accommodations at the nearby Jupiter hotel, and savor a whiskey cocktail at the Doug Fir Lounge.
Exchange Ballroom Wedding
Lauren & Matt
A Portland rooftop wedding with a Hawaiian theme. An elegant ballroom reception with corn hole and a churro cart. I mean…does it get any better than these combinations? Lauren and Matt’s Exchange Ballroom wedding was everything a couple aspires their wedding to be.
Anthony & Alex
Exchange Ballroom Wedding
Alex and Anthony’s Exchange Ballroom wedding was right at the start of wedding season this year and we really couldn’t ask for a better way to kick things off. These two have energy that is just…electric.
Michael & Meredith
Exchange Ballroom
We loved everything from Michael and Meredith’s enthusiasm for the day to the unique details that made up their day to their first dance song, which was a Bob Marley classic performed by two of their close friends.
