If you’re looking for a venue that offers a dramatic scenery, warm lighting and colorful backdrops, consider renting out a ballroom. They often come with their own unique chandelier-esque lighting and built in ambiance so the decorating is minimal! Add to the warmth with candles, rich table linens and you are set! Ballroom weddings are perfect for an indoor or winter wedding where you don’t want to worry about the weather but still desire a beautiful space to tie the knot. Blake & Jody
It was our first time shooting a Salem Convention Center wedding and let’s just say, it exceeded every expectation.
Derrick & Lauren
Derrick and Lauren are incredibly busy med students and resident physicians so when it came to planning their Sentinel Hotel wedding, they did what every busy couple should absolutely do (and in this order)…book their dream venue, find a photographer they love and hire a stellar team to make it all happen.
Empress Estate Wedding
Yi and Sarah held an intimate, romantic and elegant celebration for their Empress Estate wedding this past March. These two are as sweet as they come. They gave us one of our first weddings of the year, which could almost be described as a fancy elopement.
We loved everything from Michael and Meredith’s enthusiasm for the day to the unique details that made up their day to their first dance song, which was a Bob Marley classic performed by two of their close friends.
Rohan & Erica
Erica and Rohan exchanged vows at the romantic and colorfully rich First Presbyterian church in downtown Portland. After which, the celebration moved to Castaway, where the newlyweds switched into traditional Sri Lankan wedding attire.
Hobin & Ella
Planning a wedding is no easy feat as is and planning a Portland wedding while living in New York makes the task even harder. Luckily, Hobin and Ella hired an amazing local wedding planner, Molli Barss of Soiree and the pieces of their Elysian Ballroom wedding came together perfectly.
